Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, reactivity associated with past traumas, and/or relationships that leave you feeling drained and defeated?

One-on-one therapy can help you get unstuck from harmful patterns, rediscover your authentic value(s), and reconnect with people and pastimes that enliven you. This can be a difficult path to forge when you’re used to putting everything and everyone else first. And it’s a path you don't have to walk alone.

As your co-explorer, I will guide you to deeper awareness of the habits, narratives, and emotional blocks that are holding you back while also respecting your unique process, which is rarely linear and never exactly the same as someone else—just like you. My style is informal, rooted in courage and compassion, and glittered with humor. I draw from an eclectic range of clinical theories anchored in my Core Values, emphasizing Gestalt, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Attachment Theory.

Therapy works on multiple levels to alleviate symptoms, establish new routines, build skills, and enable transformative growth. Early on, our work will focus on building trust and momentum while introducing frameworks to understand your experience & practicing skills (e.g., emotional awareness, nervous system regulation, boundary setting, supportive self-talk). As our work deepens, I will encourage you to experiment with new ways of being in relationship with yourself and others. This may involve embodying emotions, speaking as or to sensations, creating dialogue in session, trying on statements to see how they resonate, acting out past experiences, providing for what was needed then in the here & now, and practicing receptivity.

Individual Therapy

I am also in-network with several insurance plans through an independent provider association called Alma. If you have Aetna, Optum/United, or Cigna, you can see me at in-network rates. If you're not sure what that is, I am happy to send you a link to upload your insurance information into Alma for benefits verification. In about 3 days, Alma will provide an estimated out-of-pocket cost per session.

Full-fee clients subsidize low-fee therapy ($50/session) for folx experiencing financial hardship. When available, my low-fee therapy slots can be accessed through my profile on Open Path Collective.

My full fee is $150 for a 55-minute session. This fee includes an additional hour outside of session for treatment planning, resource development, professional consultation, and other administrative tasks.

Online therapy is a popular alternative to meeting in the office. There's no commute, parking hassles, or travel time to factor into your schedule. Clients are less restricted geographically in their search for the right fit, and health and safety issues are minimized. Video sessions make it possible to join from a comfortable and familiar location where it may be easier to open up—or to get emotional support from a pet.

To optimize your telehealth experience, join via a strong WiFi signal or wired internet connection. Streaming video and enhanced encryption for privacy require high bandwidth for audio and video quality. Headphones will increase privacy.

Come as you are, trusting that right here & now is the perfect place to begin.

Fees & Insurance

Please verify Alma’s estimate when you receive your first explanation of benefits (EOB) from your insurance company; on rare occasions, errors have been identified several months later, with expensive results. By using health insurance, you consent to having a behavioral health diagnosis reported to your insurance company to establish medical necessity for services.

Finally, I can provide financial statements and/or a diagnosis code to access "out of network" benefits from other insurance companies. Out of network benefits are partial reimbursement for the fees you pay out of pocket for therapy. You can find out whether you qualify for out of network benefits by calling the phone number on the back of your insurance card.
